The University of the Free State (UFS) will be presenting the 2nd UFS Thought-Leader Series in cooperation with Vrye Weekblad as part of the Vrystaat Arts Festival.

UFS dean elected as member of national council

Prof. Herman van Schalkwyk, Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS), has been elected for a period of four years on the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) by the Minister of Agriculture, Ms Lulu Xingwana. The NAMC advises the Minister and the South African agricultural industry on matters relating to the marketing of agricultural products.
