UFS Thought Leader series


The University of the Free State (UFS) will be presenting the 2nd UFS Thought-Leader Series in cooperation with Vrye Weekblad as part of the Vrystaat Arts Festival.

Exceptional achievement for UFS student in Quantity Surveying
2007-09-21

 

A student from the University of the Free State's (UFS) Department of Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, Ms Pulane Mahloka, recently received the gold medal for exceptional final year student in South Africa for 2006 from the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS). She is the first black student to received this prestigious award. She is the fourteenth UFS student since 1970 to receive this medal, of which six are women.
