With the second semester well underway, you may feel overwhelmed by the academic pressure and you aren’t sure how to find your way out of this maze. Department of Communication Science presents a copy-writing workshop

The Department of Communication Science recently presented a workshop on copy-writing on the Main Campus of the University of the Free State (UFS). Each year the department invites a professional copy-writer to present a workshop to students. This year Mr Francois de Villiers, a respected copy-writer from a Cape Town company called DRAFTFCB, was the presenter. Mr De Villiers is especially known for a number of advertisements flighted on national media. At the workshop were, from the left: Dr Dalmé Mulder (Department of Communication Science), Ms Ipeleng Moduka (student), Prof. Angeliqué van Niekerk (Department of Afrikaans and Dutch, German and French), Mr De Villiers and Mr Neville Jeftha (student).
