With the second semester well underway, you may feel overwhelmed by the academic pressure and you aren’t sure how to find your way out of this maze. American diplomats to visit Bloemfontein Campus

US Presidential Elections in the spotlight.

Two senior diplomats from the American Embassy in Pretoria will visit the Bloemfontein Campus on 19 April 2012 to discuss the upcoming US presidential elections. They will participate in a seminar hosted by the Department of Political Studies and Governance.
Dr Dale Lawton, the Foreign Service Officer in the Political Section at the US Embassy, and Ms Laura Santini, the Deputy Press Officer at the embassy, will lead discussions about the elections that take place in November in America.
Ms Santini will talk about media coverage of the US elections and Dr Lawton’s talk will deal with democracy in action: electing the US President.
The discussions start at 09:30 in EDU 15 in the new Education Building.
