With the second semester well underway, you may feel overwhelmed by the academic pressure and you aren’t sure how to find your way out of this maze. Academic receives Stals Prize

The Stals Prize for Economic and Management Sciences was awarded to Prof. Dave Lubbe from the University of the Free State’s (UFS) Centre for Accounting by the Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns. Prof. Lubbe is the first chartered accountant to receive this prestigious award. Over and above this achievement, Prof. Lubbe is also the writer of the first Afrikaans hand book for Auditing and is the first person in South Africa to obtain a doctorate in Auditing. He specialises in corporate management and business ethics and has acted as chairperson of various auditing committees in the private and government sector.
