With the second semester well underway, you may feel overwhelmed by the academic pressure and you aren’t sure how to find your way out of this maze. Foreign students do course in disaster management at the UFS

Students in the Advanced Diploma and Master's degree in Disaster Management recently visited the Main Campus of the University of the Free State (UFS) in Bloemfontein for their first contact session. The course, presented by the Disaster Management Training and Education Centre for Africa (DiMTEC) at the UFS, is over two years and attracts a large number of foreign students. At the welcoming function were, from the left: Prof. Herman van Schalkwyk (Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences), Mr Itamar Levy (Israel), Mr Mohammed Khaled (Palestine), Mr Johannes Belle (Lesotho), and Mr Andries Jordaan (Director of DiMTEC).
