Student receives first copy of expert book on internal medicine

As part of the autumn graduation ceremony of the University of the Free State (UFS), the Faculty of Health Sciences last night gave recognition to students who excelled in 2007. Ms Elize du Toit (left) received the McGraw Hill Prize for the highest mark obtained in all the modules in the MB.Ch.B. programme. Her prize is the first copy of the latest edition of Principles of medicine, an expert book on internal medicine. Here she is with Prof. Pieter Nel, Programme Director: Undergraduate Medicine in the School of Medicine at the UFS.
