With the second semester well underway, you may feel overwhelmed by the academic pressure and you aren’t sure how to find your way out of this maze. Research team wins National Innovation fund prize

A research team from the Department of Microbial, Biochemichal and Food Boitechnology at the University of the Free State (UFS) has won the prize for the best exhibition at the recent finals of the National Innovation Fund competition in Stellenbosch. The same team had previously won the UFS leg of the Innovation Fund. The exhibition was attended by the Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Mosibudi Mangena. At the prize giving ceremony were, from the left: Dr Eugene Lottering (Executive Director: Innovation Fund), Ms. Kasweka Kakoma, Ms. Jay Lee, Mr Lehlohonolo Mathengtheng (all from the Veterinary Biotechnology team), and Mr Mangena (Minister of Science and Technology).
