UFS helps to honour community service workers from Heidedal
2008-11-19

The Chief Directorate Community Service from the University of the Free State (UFS) presented the Heidedaller van die Jaar project in co-operation with Volksblad. The aim of the project was to honour community-service workers from Heidedal for their selfless work in the community.

The winners were honoured at a gala event. Ms Angelique Tarentaal was named Heidedaller of the Year. Ms Jeanine Nothnagel, (photo) Community Service coordinator from the Faculty of the Humanities, represented the UFS in the project.
