As part of its celebrations of “A Century of Jurisprudence”, the Faculty at Law of the University of the Free State (UFS) recently presented an alumni breakfast for Labour Law students on the Main Campus. The faculty is proud of the fact that many of the Free State community's labour law experts were educated at this faculty. Attending the occasion were, from the left: Prof. Voet du Plessis, Head of the Department of Mercantile Law, Ms Anita Lombard, Executive Officer of the UVPersu Personnel Union on campus and an alumnus, Mr Sello Letawana, who completed the Advanced Course in Labour Law in 2008, and Ms Nthabiseng Makitikiti, a Qwaqwa labour law student. A Labour Law Alumni was also founded at this occasion.
