Within the next five years, 60% of the world’s population will be living in urban areas. Urban living comes with large-scale economic advantages and society benefits from economies of scale. But, COVID-19 is challenging urban living. We have introduced the term ‘social distancing’ and some policy analysts have even argued for the de-densification of cities.

Kovsie Bequest Society inform members on estate planning

Recently the members of the Kovsie Bequest Society (Kbs) attended an information session on the planning of an estate. The information session was hosted by the Kbs. Mr Gert Nel, Director of Corporate Tax at PriceWaterhouseCoopers was die presenter. Prof. André Venter, Head of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health also shared the world of paediatric intensive care with the audience. Attending the occasion were, from the left: Ms Pat Lamusse (UFS Marketing), Dr Andries Klopper, Ms Klopper and Ms Elsje de la Rosa.
