Some of the guests who attended the launch were, from the left: Prof Gustav Visser (lecturer at the Department of Geography and co-author of the special edition of the journal), Prof Teuns Verschoor (Vice-Rector: Academic Operations at the UFS), Prof Peter Holmes (Head: Department of Geography and co-author of the special edition of the journal) and Prof Herman van Schalkwyk (Dean: Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the UFS).
