The academic calendar for 2021 was approved by the Executive Committee of Senate (ECS) on Friday 4 December 2020. The calendar has been compiled with the assumption that Level 1 of the national lockdown level will continue. Click here to view: UFS 2021 Academic Calendar

Young researchers are developed

On the Faculty of the Humanities’ annual Research Day, which is part of its Mentorship Programme, young researchers received the opportunity to make presentations. More experienced researchers gave constructive feedback and suggestions. Lynette Jacobs, Patience Fwero, Carel van Wyk and Kingdom Moshounyane, amongst others, delivered presentations. At the occasion were, from the left: Kingdom, Prof. Angelique van Niekerk, Department of Afrikaans and Dutch, German and French, and Prof. Engela Pretorius, Vice Dean of the faculty.
