Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs
Welcome to the University of the Free State! This is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and have the best years of your life. This is the message from Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs at the University of the Free State, to new first-year students.
About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

Department of Communication Science honours academic achievers

Thirteen third-year students from the University of the Free State's (UFS) Department of Communication Science were recently honoured during the Department's top achiever function held on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein. All learners who obtained an average of 70% or higher for their third-year modules were invited to this function.
