Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs
Welcome to the University of the Free State! This is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and have the best years of your life. This is the message from Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs at the University of the Free State, to new first-year students.
About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

New students start Governance Programme orientation

The new students, who have enrolled for the Postgraduate Diploma in Governance and Political Transformation in the Faculty of the Humanities for this year, started their orientation session this week. The students attended classes on each of the modules with different lecturers as part of the session. There are 33 students who have enrolled for this programme.
