About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

| An honours award for outstanding leadership and service was conferred upon Prof. Hendri Kroukamp, Secundus Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS), at the 28th Conference of the International Association for Schools and Institutes of Administration in Bali, Indonesia in July, 2010. At the same conference Prof. Kroukamp was also re-elected as the African representative of the Association. |
