Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs
Welcome to the University of the Free State! This is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and have the best years of your life. This is the message from Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs at the University of the Free State, to new first-year students.
About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

International day for people with disabilities

Please support a programme for the international day for people with disabilities:
Life and reality pageant, organised by Ilzé Greyling, herself being deaf. Also with Du Preez Stoltz, Riaan Naudé (blind singer), Seugnet Karsten, Sunell Wiehman and the Transoranje (School for the Deaf) Pikanini's.
On Wednesday, 3 December 2008, 18:30 for 19:00 at Ilanga Estate. Cost is R95 per person. Snacks are included and a cash bar is available.
