Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs
Welcome to the University of the Free State! This is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and have the best years of your life. This is the message from Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs at the University of the Free State, to new first-year students.
About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

The Division Staff Development at CHESD, invites all staff members to attend the following professional enrichment programme:
Students with disabilities. Who experiences the bigger challenge?
The session will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2009, from 09:00-13:00 in the Benito Khotseng Building, room 107.
All lecturing staff, teaching learning facilitators and interested staff are welcome to attend. Ms Hetsie Veitch from the Unit for Students with Disabilities will do the presentation.
