Welcome to the University of the Free State! This is an opportunity to enjoy yourself and have the best years of your life. This is the message from Pura Mgolombane, Dean: Student Affairs at the University of the Free State, to new first-year students.
About 7900 new first-year students will start their study journey at the UFS this year, and Pura has some advice for the new Kovsies.

Eight students are doing their M degree in Sport Sciences at the UFS

A group of eight students are doing their M degree in Sport Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS) this year. The students were welcomed into the programme by Mr Lourens Bekker, manager from Life Healthcare, who is a sponsor of the M degree in Sport Sciences.
Attending the occasion were, from the left: Mr Bekker, Dr Adele Lubbe from Wellington, and Dr Louis Holtzhausen, Programme Director of the M degree in Sport Sciences at the UFS. The group of students was selected from over the whole of South Africa.
