The Free State Centre for Human Rights in the UFS Faculty of Law invites you to the 2020 Human Rights Week from 17 to 20 March 2020. Prof Wessels presented with final degree at his home

Prof Boelie Wessels and University Chancellor Dr Khotso Mokhele

An outstanding academic, colleague, and life-long student of the UFS, Prof Hermanus Wessels, received his 17^th degree this year. At the age of 85, and due to poor health, he was presented with his final degree at his home by University Chancellor, Dr Khotso Mokhele. What would have been a short visit turned out to be a memorable afternoon for both Dr Mokhele and the Wessels family.

Prof Wessels concluded his service to the university, which included Latin translation for the Faculty of Law last year. His outstanding achievements and commitment to the university will always be remembered.
