Four UFS staff members elected on national linguistic society's management committee

Four staff members of the Department of Afro-asiatic Studies, Sign Language and Language Practice at the University of the Free State (UFS) were recently elected on the management committee of the Linguistic Society of Southern Africa. They are, from the left: Prof. Jackie Naudé (editor of the accredited journal Southern African Linguistics and Applied Language Studies), Ms Nikiwe Matebula (treasurer), Ms Leandra Ehlers (webmaster), and Mr Cobus Snyman (secretary).
