Prof Wessels presented with final degree at his home
2015-04-29

Prof Boelie Wessels and University Chancellor Dr Khotso Mokhele |
An outstanding academic, colleague, and life-long student of the UFS, Prof Hermanus Wessels, received his 17th degree this year. At the age of 85, and due to poor health, he was presented with his final degree at his home by University Chancellor, Dr Khotso Mokhele. What would have been a short visit turned out to be a memorable afternoon for both Dr Mokhele and the Wessels family.
Prof Wessels concluded his service to the university, which included Latin translation for the Faculty of Law last year. His outstanding achievements and commitment to the university will always be remembered.
