Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
Department of Missiology holds international conference

The Department of Missiology in the Faculty of Theology at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently hosted an international conference with the theme "Mission and Conversion". The conference included speakers from Brazil, the Netherlands, India, Malawi, Germany, Kenya and South Africa. At the conference, front from left, were: Prof Abraham van de Beek (Professor of Systematic Theology at Vrije University, Amsterdam), Mrs Rachel Nyagondue Fiedler (Lecturer at Mzuzu University, Malawi) and Dr Siga Arles (Director: Centre for Contemporary Christianity, India).
