Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
HIV/Aids Centre celebrates life!

During a colourful event of diverse talent, which included from hip-hop, soul and pop to Afrikaans music, the University of the Free State’s (UFS) HIV/Aids Centre recently held a concert with the theme Celebrate life, Keep HIV/Aids out of the future. Some of the groups that performed at this event include Reach, Basic Soul, Enigma and Sonnedou’s Sêr Group. Chizano, a fifth-year medical student, further entertained the audience with her beautiful voice. Here is a colourful picture of the students who enjoyed the concert.
