Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
Rector meets Free State business sector

The Marketing Division at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently hosted “Breakfast with the Rector” at Oliewenhuis in Bloemfontein. The event was attended by about 55 representatives from the corporate sector. In his address the Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the UFS, Prof. Jonathan Jansen (pictured), extolled the virtues of the UFS while expressing his optimism about its future prospects. He said the support of business, big or small, was very important in assisting the university to move forward in its quest to be the best.
