Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.

The Unit for Professional Training and Services in the Behavioural Sciences (UNIBS) at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently held a conference, discussing the topics “Fear of Failure” and “Procrastination”. Prof. Eric Depreeuw from the Centre for School Psychology and Child and Adolescent Development at the Katolieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, was the main speaker. Prof. Adelene Grobler, Director of UNIBS said this event was attended by Registered Psychologists as part of their continued professional development as required by the Health Professions Council of South Africa to ensure accountable professional practice. At this event were, from the left: Prof. Grobler, Ms Jenny Lake from UNIBS and coordinator of the event and Prof. Depreeuw.
