Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.

Prof. Schalk Wentzel of the Department of Urology in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS) delivered his inaugural lecture recently on Active surveillance – another treatment for organ confined prostate cancer. Prof. Wentzel is busy with his Ph.D. in Higher Medical Education and is also chairperson of the academic committee of the South African Urological Association. He authored and co-authored many publications and delivered presentations at national and international congresses.
