Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.

An honours award for outstanding leadership and service was conferred upon Prof. Hendri Kroukamp, Secundus Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS), at the 28th Conference of the International Association for Schools and Institutes of Administration in Bali, Indonesia in July, 2010. At the same conference Prof. Kroukamp was also re-elected as the African representative of the Association. |
