Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.

Artworks of some of central South Africa’s finest young artists will be on display this week at the Johannes Stegmann Art Gallery on the Bloemfontein Campus.
The Absa L’Atelier Central Region Exhibition, which opens on Thurday 8 March 2012, features artworks entered for the Absa L’Atelier Art Awards 2012. Finalists from the central region will be announced at the opening. The exhibition runs until 29 March 2012.
The Johannes Stegmann Art Gallery hours are from 08:30 – 16:30.
