Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.

A great honour as befallen the new Director of KovsieSport at the University of the Free State (UFS), Mr DB Prinsloo. He has been appointed by Athletics South Africa as the team coach of the South African team that will take part in the XVIII AAC Africa Senior Athletics Championships.
The championsips will take place in Porto Novo in Benin from 26 June to 1 July 2012. The team departed on 24 June.
“It is an honour and a privilege to be the part of this top team from South Africa as the coach,” says Mr Prinlsoo.
