Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
MEC obtained his second masters degree

Mnr Darkey Africa, MEC for Economic Development and Tourism of the North West Province, today obtained his second masters degree during the University of the Free State's (UFS) spring graduation ceremony. Mr Africa obtained the masters degree in Governance and Political Transformation at the UFS in 2002. The masters degree in Development Studies was awarded to him today.
Mr Africa and his promotor, Prof Lucius Botes, Director: Centre for Development Support at the UFS.
