She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
Free State Rugby Union honours Kovsie sport stars

Former Kovsie athlete, Johan Cronjé, and former Kovsie netball player, Adéle Niemand, were honoured by the Free State Rugby Union (FRU) on Saturday night.
Cronjé was honoured as bronze medalist in the 1 500 m at this year’s world championships in Moscow. Niemand was honoured as Protea netball player and captain of the Free State netball team crowned as champions at the Spar National Netball Championships. Lindsay Mould, president of the FRU, presented the awards to the two Free State sport stars during half-time of the Currie Cup match played between Cheetahs and Sharks on Saturday night.
