Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
Academic to address an international congress

Prof Rob Bragg (pictured) from the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Food Biotechnology at the University of the Free State (UFS), will address the World Veterinary Poultry Association congress in Beijing, China, from the 12th to the 16th of September 2007. This biennial congress is the main showcase for leading international researchers in poultry diseases. Prof Bragg will deliver seven presentations which include research work carried out by his postgraduate students.
