Helen Zille is a South African journalist, activist, and politician who served as the national leader (2007-2015) of the Democratic Alliance (DA), the official opposition party in South Africa. She was also Premier of the Western Cape from 2009 until 2019. Zille’s autobiography, Not without a Fight, was published in 2016.
Law Clinic inaugurated on the Vista Campus

The official inauguration of the University of the Free State’s (UFS) Law Clinic on the Vista Campus in Bloemfontein recently took place. The clinic, which was situated in town, provides free legal services to the community and already handles about 500 civil cases. At the inauguration were, from the left: Adv. Inez Bezuidenhout (from the Law Clinic), Dr Neels Swanepoel (Director of the Law Clinic), Prof. Johan Henning (Dean of the Faculty of Law at the UFS), and Mr Ryan Ishmail (from the Law Clinic).
