Student Court inaugurates judges and a clerk

The Student Court of the University of the Free State’s (UFS) Main Campus in Bloemfontein has inaugurated six judges and a clerk at a ceremony organised by the Student Representative Council's (SRC) member for Legal and Constitutional Affairs recently. The Student Court was created by the university to test the legality of the decisions made by the SRC and the Student Parliament in terms of South Africa’s Constitution, the SRC’s Constitution and also the regulations of the UFS.
