Shimlas play in USSA Rugby Tournament

The University of the Free State’s (UFS) first rugby team, the Shimlas, ended third in this year’s University Sport South Africa (USSA) Rugby Tournament that was presented at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). The Shimlas played against the University of Stellenbosch, the UJ and Varsity College (Sharks Academy). The results were as follows: Shimlas vs. Maties 31-25, Shimlas vs. UJ 15-34, and Shimlas vs. Varsity College 49-11. Twenty-five rugby teams participated in the tournament.
