Due to logistical reasons – which include the coming long weekend and the fact that the first term ends next week – the academic programme on the Qwaqwa Campus will remain online until Friday 25 March 2022.
Students will be informed by their faculties about the revised schedule for the week of 22-25 March 2022, as well as about arrangements regarding tests and assessments scheduled for next week on the campus.
UFS receives computers of R2 million from the Dell foundation

The Dell Foundation donated 200 computers to the value of R2 million to the Main and Qwaqwa Campuses of the University of the Free State (UFS). This is the first time the UFS receives a donation from Dell. The computers will be given to the student computer laboratories on the Qwaqwa Campus and the School of Nursing and the Unit for Students for Disabilities on the Main Campus.

Attending the handing-over ceremony were, from the left: Ms Ronelle Ceronio (Head: Unit for Students with Disabilities at the UFS), Mr Teboho Manchu (Deputy Director: Student Affairs, Qwaqwa Campus), Mr Ted Coote (Consultant to the Dell Foundation) and Mrs Margot Coote (Consultant to the Dell Foundation).
