About the Speaker:
Paul Fouché has been employed at the UFS since 2007. Currently, he is a professor and a registered counselling psychologist with the HPCSA and an active member of the Psychological Society of South Africa. He is also an NRF C-rated researcher. As research supervisor/co-supervisor, he has graduated 115 postgraduate students.
He served on the editorial committee of Acta Academica, was guest editor of the Journal of Psychology in Africa, and co-editor of special issues on psychobiography for Europe’s Journal of Psychology and two books by Springer. Paul is the
coordinator of the BPsych Honours programme and lectures in the Applied Master’s programme.

Three academic “generations” at the UFS deliver papers overseas

Staff from the Department of Communication and Information Studies at the University of the Free State (UFS) recently delivered papers overseas. Ms. Elbie Lombaard participated in the International Feminist Summit in Townsville, Australia, Ms Dalmé Mulder delivered two papers at the Australian New Zealand Communication Association’s conference in Melbourne, Australia and at the International Conference on Diversity in Organisations, Communities and Nations in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Prof. Johann de Wet delivered a paper in in Warskou, Poland at an international congress on International Political Linguistics. Prof. De Wet is Ms Mulder’s promoter with her doctoral studies, while Ms Mulder provides study guidance to Ms Lombaard for the completion of her Master's degree in Communication Sciences.
