Walk of honour for December graduates
The big day has finally arrived! The December graduation ceremonies will be in full swing on 9 and 12 December. UFS Graduates will do the walk of honour across the stage in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus.

This marks the second in-person graduations following the COVID-19 pandemic's virtual ceremonies.

Service of dedication and blessings held for UFS Rector

The first of different activities culminating with the official inauguration of Prof. Jonathan Jansen as first black Rector and Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Free State (UFS) was held on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein yesterday. Prof. Jansen was welcomed as thirteenth Rector of the UFS by Father Patrick Towe, Chairperson of the UFS’s Campus Ministries Forum during a service of dedication and blessing that was held on the campus. Father Towe bestowed blessings, support and wisdom upon Prof. Jansen for his time ahead as leader of this institution.
