Walk of honour for December graduates
The big day has finally arrived! The December graduation ceremonies will be in full swing on 9 and 12 December. UFS Graduates will do the walk of honour across the stage in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus.

This marks the second in-person graduations following the COVID-19 pandemic's virtual ceremonies.

Prof Basie Verster received the Distinguished International Fellow award

Prof Basie Verster, Departmental Chairperson of the University of the Free State's (UFS) Department of Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, received the Distinguished International Fellow award from the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) during the world congress held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Prof Verster was chairperson of the ICEC for the past two years. Five members of the UFS Department of Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, including Prof Verster, delivered papers at the world congress.
