Walk of honour for December graduates
The big day has finally arrived! The December graduation ceremonies will be in full swing on 9 and 12 December. UFS Graduates will do the walk of honour across the stage in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus.

This marks the second in-person graduations following the COVID-19 pandemic's virtual ceremonies.

Workshop on enhancing good corporate governance in local government

The Faculty of Law at the University of the Free State (UFS) presented a workshop with the auditing firm KPMG on enhancing good corporate governance in local government.
Some of the people who attended the workshop were from the left: Mr Peter Maloka (Chairperson of committees: Free State Provincial Government), Mr Kevin West (Director of KPMG), Prof Dave Lubbe (UFS Centre for Accounting), Ms Mamikie Qabathe (Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Local Government and Housing), Adv Jannie Lubbe (Director of KPMG, Bloemfontein and extraordinary professor in the Research Unit for Economic Crime at the UFS) and Adv Jaco de Bruin (Research Unit for Economic Crime at the UFS).
