Walk of honour for December graduates
The big day has finally arrived! The December graduation ceremonies will be in full swing on 9 and 12 December. UFS Graduates will do the walk of honour across the stage in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus.

This marks the second in-person graduations following the COVID-19 pandemic's virtual ceremonies.

Society for Agriculture Students receives sponsorship from PPS

The Society for Agricultural Students at the University of the Free State (UFS) received a sponsorship from PPS for the upgrading of the society’s facilities on the Main Campus in Bloemfontein. The upgrading included among others the installation of a plasma screen in the southern entrance of the Agricultural Building and the building of a lapa in the courtyard of the building. Attending the handing-over of the sponsorship were, from the left: Messrs Jannie Myburgh (Chairman of the Society for Agriculture Students for 2006/07), Dirkie Strydom (Chairman of the Society for Agriculture Students for 2005/06), Barry Pretorius (representative from PPS), Stefen Shultz (representative from PPS) and Pieter Taljaard (Lecturer in the UFS Department of Agricultural Economics).
