Walk of honour for December graduates
The big day has finally arrived! The December graduation ceremonies will be in full swing on 9 and 12 December. UFS Graduates will do the walk of honour across the stage in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus.

This marks the second in-person graduations following the COVID-19 pandemic's virtual ceremonies.

No registration fee for first-time honours degree students

If you are planning on registering for a first honours degree in 2017 at the University of the Free State (UFS), you are eligible for the university’s registration fee waiver.
The UFS registration fee waiver is only applicable for the first year of study. Students in their second year are required to pay the registration fee.

The UFS has also allocated funding towards honours, masters and doctoral bursaries for studies in 2017.
