Disruption of academic activities occurred on the Bloemfontein, South, and Qwaqwa campuses of the University of the Free State (UFS) on 1 and 2 August 2023.
The university management is aware that the protest action has impacted our students’ academic programme, as well as academic and support service activities on the campuses.

Community Service hosted an exhibition

The Portfolio Committee: Community Service of the Faculty of the Humanities hosted its annual exhibition of projects of students in Community Service. Departments participating in service-learning modules took part in the exhibition. The aim of this exhibition was to create an awareness of the activities in which departments/programmes and their colleagues are involved. The Mangaung Strings Programme performed during the exhibition.
