Disruption of academic activities occurred on the Bloemfontein, South, and Qwaqwa campuses of the University of the Free State (UFS) on 1 and 2 August 2023.
The university management is aware that the protest action has impacted our students’ academic programme, as well as academic and support service activities on the campuses.

Registration date extended

The University of the Free State (UFS) has extended its registration date from Monday 8 February 2016 to Friday 12 February 2016 for local students, as well as for international students who have already been admitted to the UFS. Students must first obtain permission from the respective faculties about availability in their programmes, as registration can only take place on this basis. Registration for local and international students will take place in the H van der Merwe Scholtz Hall (HMS) on the Bloemfontein Campus from 8 to 12 February 2016.
