Disruption of academic activities occurred on the Bloemfontein, South, and Qwaqwa campuses of the University of the Free State (UFS) on 1 and 2 August 2023.
The university management is aware that the protest action has impacted our students’ academic programme, as well as academic and support service activities on the campuses.

#SurvivingFirstYear: 3. Seek for balance: University is very different from school. It is a constant battle between socialising and academics. First priority must always be academics. Finish your assignments before going out. Find balance between the two. Heads up, never go out clubbing when you need to be studying, and throw in some exercise too.
