Mark your calendar: The Faculty of Law's Human Rights celebration is approaching!

In commemoration of Human Rights Day, the Faculty of Law at the University of the Free State (UFS) is marking the occasion with a series of special events. These include a panel discussion titled Contribution of Sir Kentridge to Human Rights in South Africa and Beyond, and a public lecture titled Thirty Years of Human Rights in South Africa? Any Reason to Celebrate? – delivered by Emeritus Constitutional Court Justice Albie Sachs, promising a day of profound reflection and insight.

Kovsies onoorwonne in tennis

DIE mans- en vrouetennisspanne van die Universiteit van die Vrystaat het hul groepwedstryde gister onoorwonne afgesluit.

Die Kovsie-mans het die Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit 4-3 in sy laaste groepwedstryd geklop, terwyl die vroue met dieselfde telling oor Pukke geseëvier het.

Die wedstryde wat Maandagmiddag weens reën nie voltooi kon word nie, is ook gistermid dag afgehandel.

Die UV-mans het TUT toe met 4-3 geklop, terwyl die vroue hul wedstryd teen die Universiteit van Kaapstad 4-3 gewen het.

In vandag se halfeindrondes van die A-afdeling (mans) kom Kovsies teen Maties en Tukkies teen RAU te staan, en in die vroue-afdeling pak Kovsies vir RAU, terwyl Tukkies en die Pukke sake sal uitspook.
