The faculty is proud of the fact that many of the Free State community's labour law experts were educated at this faculty. Attending the occasion were, from the left: Prof. Voet du Plessis, Head of the Department of Mercantile Law, Ms Anita Lombard, Executive Officer of the UVPersu Personnel Union on campus and an alumnus, Mr Sello Letawana, who completed the Advanced Course in Labour Law in 2008, and Ms Nthabiseng Makitikiti, a Qwaqwa labour law student.
