Economist Mike Schussler speaks at UFS

Mike Schussler, the highly regarded economist and noted public speaker, will present a talk on The Meaning of the Census data.

  • Date: Friday 9 November 2012
  • Time: 16:00 – 17:00
  • Venue: UFS Business School, Auditorium, Ground Floor.

There are limited spaces available and students, staff and outside visitors will be seated on a first-come first-seated basis.

Mr Schussler will explore the overt and hidden meanings of the data for development; the state of the nation; the possibilities of transformation; and the implications for research. Limited copies of the Census report will be available at the venue.

The speaker is the owner of, an economic research house in South Africa. He has won numerous awards for his analysis and research on social, economic and development matters.
