The Princess was unsure of these plans but with the help of her camel friend, Jamaila and the all-knowing Genie Alim, they will help her to devise a plan to make her decision easier.

Everything doesn’t go according to plan, though, because of the jealous sorceress Mara who will do everything in her power to become queen of Arcadia. Classic Guitar Fantasy with CH2

Guitar Duo with Corneille Hutton & Dirkie van Staden

“Multi-award winning CH2 will blow you away with their style and virtuosity on two classical guitars!”

Now, in their 18th year as professional musicians, CH2 goes from strength to strength with Insomnia, their 11th album to date. One of the tracks on the album went to number seven on radio stations in Australia and enjoys worldwide radio play. This magical duo’s best claim to fame is achieving first place in the Worldwide Classical/Flamenco category in the Lee Ritenour Six String Theory International Guitar Competition, held in the USA. This is the single biggest, most prestigious, guitar competition in the world, covering all genres and styles of music on the six-stringed instrument, all competing in one arena. With their flawless, effortless technique and pulsating rhythms, they showcase what can be done on only two Classical guitars. CH2 is a proud member of the Grammy Foundation and will enter Insomnia in the next round of the Grammys. CH2 has won numerous awards over the years, with two SAMA (South African Music Award) awards for best instrumental/classical album. The SAMA is arguably the top music award in the whole of Africa. They’ve also won two Ghoema awards as well as a Geraas, Oscar and VryFees award respectively.

Corneille Hutten is a multi-award winning Classical soloist who founded CH2 18 years ago with the aim to introduce Classical guitar to a larger audience. As part of CH2, he was winner of numerous awards including the World Classical / Flamenco category in the 2011 Lee Ritenour Six String Theory International Guitar Competition and as a soloist, he has been awarded the overall first place in various Eisteddfods.

Dirkie van Staden is a multi-instrumentalist. His focus, however, is on Classical guitar on which he displays a unique and distinctive rhythmic style. Few guitarists can compare with his virtuoso nuevo-flamenco and Spanish Rasgueado technique. His rhythmic ingenuity has become one of the cornerstones of CH2’s unique sound. He enjoys conducting wind bands and has an honours degree (cum laude) in music education.
